Dave, thanks for this piece. I've been following the campaign with interest and it is good to know some of the details behind the strategy. I agree wholeheartedly that Baltimore is a city of infinite possibilities. That is why I moved here. And that is why I stay. I look forward to participating in its future…and am hoping Google will come along for the ride!

Then stop and think about it – if Google doesn't come here (they should) WE (collectively) MUST utilize the groundwork, the LONG hours and the unpaid human capital that's already been laid out for our city to MOVE THIS OURSELVES! Dave, great work on all this! I'm continually impressed by the work everyone in the community is putting into making Baltimore the new hot place for technology. I agree with your final point—even if Google doesn't invest in Baltimore, someone should.
