You might want to save the earth. I'm sure you want to take part in this very important task. And it takes group effort to accomplish this. As the owner of a green blog, I've picked you as an ideal model of greening the world. That's why I'm asking you if I might interest you in taking part in saving our planet by doing the green initiative of spreading the latest news and tips on how to green the world.
If you would, please copy and paste this script to your website:

You would be getting the latest tips on how to green the world directly at your site, updated daily and the wonderful thing about this --aside from helping green the planet through info disemination—is that it's free!
So please consider putting this on your site. In turn, we would also be promoting your site. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
You may also be interested in contributing an article to our site.
Why people live in the suburbs:

1) Schools. Race, class, and local politics are issues around this.
2) Housing costs, inability to buy a "nice" place in the city core.
3) People like to live near their socioeconomic and lifestyle peers.

I'm for urban core living, but it's not easy, especially for middle class families. My friends in NYC love it, but they put up with tiny apartments in buildings with ancient infrastructure (for example, no temperature control, no laundry, water always going out, poor maintenance, crooked landlords, etc.)

Part of the problem is that cities aren't flexible. It's easier to build new in the suburbs than to reshape the city.

Downtown L.A. is becoming more livable though: new high rise luxury condos, and conversions of old buildings. Perhaps it was easier here because there was almost *no* residential scene downtown, so there was a low NIMBY factor.

Unfortunately you still need a car in L.A. Public transit works in dense cities, but L.A. is already a sprawl. Not sure how you fix that.

Cars seem to be an either/or proposition for cities.
